A North East Landmark

We are custodians of Neville Hall, historically the home of the North of England Institute of Mining and Mechanical Engineers since 1872. This architectural gem once echoed with the hustle and bustle of mining innovation.

Becoming The Common Room

From 2018-2022 we undertook a large capital works project to restore Neville Hall as a home for The Common Room, ensuring it remains a resource for future generations, and a space for the common good.
