DESCRIPTION:Project Groundwater Northumbria (PGN) has sparked questions about mining legacy\, ownership and how we share responsibility.\nPGN has been more than a technical exercise. It has sparked questions about mining legacy\, ownership and how we share responsibility. This talk will tell the story of PGN through the lens of partnership working\, highlighting lessons learned and how they can shape future decision-making. \nRhiannon Marchi-Smith is a hydrogeologist with expertise in mining\, mine water management\, and groundwater flooding. Her career spans both public sector and consultancy in the UK and internationally\, with hands-on experience delivering complex mine water projects from concept through to delivery. She founded RMS Groundwater Strategies to help organisations understand and manage groundwater risks\, improve cross-sector collaboration\, and embed geoscience into decision-making.
