As custodians of Neville Hall, historically the home of the North of England Institute of Mining and Mechanical Engineers since 1872, The Common Room is a charity, archive and heritage venue. Through our exhibitions, workshops and engagement activities our aim is to fulfil are charitable mission to inspire the next generation of innovators and engineers.
