Corporate partnerships

Our mission is to use our heritage to support our economy to grow. We would love to speak to you about your company becoming a founding corporate partner at The Common Room, with opportunities available from £2,500 a year.

A photograph of The Common Room's Lecture Theatre. The room features wooden-pannelled walls adorned with photographs of past presidents of The North of England Institute of Mining and Mechanical Engineers. Rows of curved wooden benches sink down into the front of the theatre. In the back corner of the room there is a bust of Nicholas Wood. Above the bust, on the wall, is a Wood quote in orange font:

Room naming

Our event spaces will be used by thousands of people when we reopen; spaces available to name include our iconic lecture theatre, which was the seat of North East industrial innovation during the industrial revolution. Talk to our team about whether room naming could support your profile, charitable giving or mission.

Donations and legacies

Personal and corporate donations to support our capital and programme activity are still needed to secure our future. Get in touch with us about making a donation or if you would like to leave us a legacy in your will, please download our brochure.

Volunteering

Our dedicated volunteers support all aspects of our project. From digitising the collection to greeting visitors at our Graft & Glory exhibition, there are opportunities for all to get involved.
