About the model
Visit a LEGO® brick model of our building; a remarkable example of High Victorian Gothic architecture which houses two of the finest rooms in Newcastle - the lavishly decorated Wood Hall and the Edwardian Lecture Theatre. This model has been designed and made by Steve Mayes of Brick This, with over 30,000 bricks going into the scale model.

This installation is available to view on select dates throughout the year, but booking is required. If you have already booked a ticket for a workshop, activity or talk, access to this exhibition is included on the same date. Otherwise, you will need to book a general admission ticket to view the model.
If tickets are not available for the month you would like to visit, please check back later as tickets are added on a monthly basis.

About the artist
Brick This specialises in bespoke architectural models made of LEGO®. Over the past few years, LEGO® architect Steve Mayes has worked with a range of clients including English Heritage, The Alnwick Garden, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Bowes Museum, Tyne and Wear Metro and Newcastle United Foundation. Steve prides himself on building highly accurate models that are used by clients to attract visitors or to raise awareness of projects.
