Grant-Lee Phillips is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He led the group Grant Lee Buffalo in the 1990s, afterwards launching a solo career. He features as the town troubadour in Gilmore Girls.

“In the Hour of Dust” was released Sept. 5th, 2025 and was described by Americana UK as “a personal, reflective record, which comes across strongly in the lyrics. The performances are strong, reflecting the quality of the musicians employed”.
