The ultimate way to kick-start Generator Live Festival!

Generator will be taking over The Common Room of the Great North for a full day of inspiring talks, panels and workshops designed to support artists and creatives in navigating the music industry. Taking place the day before Generator’s all dayer at Boiler Shop and electronic stage at World Headquarters, Generator Live Conference will bring together industry leaders, experts and grassroots music champions who will cover a wide range of topics from mental health in music through to touring advice and sustainable incomes.

Generator Live conference will also provide an opportunity for musicians to get your music in front of industry experts as well as bespoke sessions spanning all music communities from underground DIY to electronic to commercial. Alongside the sessions, there’ll be plenty of opportunities to connect with other delegates including in our Signature Brew Green Room, where our friends at Press On Vinyl will host informal drop in advice sessions paired with a delicious selection of Signature Brew beers. The conference will also showcase all things Generator – from their creative and cultural network Generator Union to our groundbreaking skills training for the live music & performance sector.
