Gordon Chapman-Fox’s Warrington-Runcorn New Town Development Plan fuses bold visuals with a striking retro-futuristic sound, evoking the growth of a northern English community from the 1970s to the ’80s. Across five albums and an EP, his immersive synth-driven music—filled with shimmering arpeggios and euphoric leads—has earned widespread acclaim.
Praised by BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music, and Electronic Sound, WRNTDP has charted in the UK and landed on multiple end-of-year lists. 2023’s The Nation’s Most Central Location was named Electronic Sound’s Album of the Year and secured a top spot at Rough Trade (#13), leading to festival appearances at End of the Road (2022, 2024).
Expect a spellbinding live show of bristling synth lines, deep bass swells, and hypnotic rhythms—perfect for soundtracking the future or the end of the old world. For fans of Belbury Poly, Vangelis, Craven Faults, and Orbury Common.
